A Magistrate in Port Harcourt has remanded the dismissed Inspector Oba Christian, who killed a tricycle driver, Edmond Ikechukwu, on the 10th of December, at Rukpokwu axis of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. The dismissed former Inspector Christian was remanded after Chief Magistrate, A.O. Amadi-Nna, declined to entertain the matter citing lack of jurisdiction shortly after his arraignment in court on Monday by the Police.
