After the death Ifeanyi, the son of Nigerian popular musician, David Adeleke, the Lagos Police Command concluded to conduct an Autopsy to determine how the incident happened for easy arrest of Victims. Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police public relation Officer, on Saturday confirmed that the autopsy conducted on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke revealed that he died as a result of drowning. "Autopsy has been concluded, it confirms Ifeanyi Adeleke drowned" he stated.

According to a source who explained that the eight domestic workers interrogated by the police in connection with the boy's (Ifeanyi Adeleke) death had been detained for some reasons, which included the failure to uphold the the duty of care of Ifeanyi.

The source also applauded the Lagos Police Command for their efforts in conducting the autopsy noting that it was standard practice for the police to do so. The source added that autopsy can only be neglected by the police if the deceased family members were not in support of it.
