Fans, friends, family and loved ones were thrown into a state of mourning after the death of popular Nigerian Gospel singer Chinedu Nwadike was announced on Sunday 27th of march 2022.

The singer who passed away at a hospital in Abuja had earlier stated some weeks ago that he needed money for treatment, he begged Nigeria at large to help him. However a few weeks later he revealed that doctors said he has been cured of his illness.

However, reports revealed that the singer passed away on Sunday due to blood cancer. Some famous people have reacted to the sad demise of the popular singer.

1. Senator Ifeanyi Ubah expressed his sadness over the death of Chinedu.

The Nnewi-born Senator, who shared a picture with the deceased on a sick bed, said “I am deeply grieved and saddened by the death of my good friend and brother; Evang. 

Chinedu Nwadike who until his demise was a renowned musical Evangelist and Minister of the Gospel who devoted his life to the propagation of the message of Jesus Christ through his music.

“Until his untimely demise, Evang. Chinedu Nwadike positively impacted the lives of many Nigerians and millions of people across the world. We thank God for the thousands of lives who were delivered from spiritual and evil bondages through his ministrations.

2. Another famous figure who reacted to the demise of the singer is opinion blogger and communication consultant, Amanda Chisom. She took to her facebook page to react to the passing of the popular singer.

She reacted by sending condolence to his family, friends and fans.

3. Social Media influencer Darlington Chidera was one of the first persons that made the demise of Chinedu known.

The media influencer asked the public to pray for the family of the deceased. In his post he revealed that he spoke with Chinedu last week and he told him that he had fully recovered from the kidney disease which he was diagnosed with earlier.

Chinedu's demise is a very sad news, may his soul rest in peace.

4. Rita Edochie also reacted to the demise of the singer.

The popular Nollywood actress took to her Instagram page to upload a video of Chinedu in a wheelchair. She shared it with an emoji while announcing that the gospel singer is gone

5. Nollywood actor Kingsley Orji also reacted via his Facebook page. He wrote in quote "I'm just bittered."

Kingsley is one of Nwadike's close friends who was assisting him and visiting him in the hospital from time to time. He was also giving an update on the health status of the singer ever since it was first reported that he was down with an ailment.
