Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has declared that Nigerians will be condemned if the People's Democratic Party (PDP) does not win the 2023 elections.
If the PDP does not win power in 2023, Nigerians will remain impoverished, according to Fayose.

Segun Oni, the former governor of Ekiti State, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr. Adebayo Jackson, the spokesman for the Segun Oni Movement, confirmed this in a phone conversation with our correspondent in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital of Ekiti, on Saturday.
Oni and hundreds of supporters decided to abandon the PDP at a stakeholders' meeting held at Oni's residence in Ifaki-Ekiti, Ido/ Osi Local Government Area of the state, according to Jackson.
Zulum Donates 18 Vehicles To Security Agencies

Babagana Zulum, the governor of Borno State, has assigned 18 vehicles to patrol the Maiduguri- Dikwa- Gamboru highway to prevent Boko Haram attacks on road users.
The patrol cars will be used by the military and Civilian JTF volunteers, as well as hunters and vigilantes who will be patrolling the roadway.
While marking off the reopening of the economic road to commuters on Friday around Muna in Maiduguri, Zulum presented the vehicles to the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, Maj. Gen. Christopher Musa.
