Ike Ekweremadu, the former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate has disclosed that he paid a visit to the IPOB leader identified as Nnamdi Kanu in security custody.
The former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate said he was accompanied by some Igbo leaders like the Secretary-General, Okey Emuchay; the Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Enyinnaya Abaribe; and Bishop Sunday Onuoha, the Bishop Sunday Onuoha.
Ekweremadu explained that a political solution concerning the leader of the IPOB group, Nnamdi Kanu is possible. The past Deputy President made this statement on his verified Facebook account.
Reports disclosed that armed bandits on motorbikes who invaded a community in Northern Nigeria have killed more than 100 people.
According to a source, the bandits stormed the villages and towns located in Zamfara State and started shooting sporadically at the residents in the community.
Aliyu Anka and Abubakar Ahmed residents of Zamfara State disclosed that they were witnesses to the incident, alleging that the bandits killed more than 100 people during their attack.
